In our second season we created the robot Achilles. Named for its great strength in engineering and design, as well as the small weaknesses we were tasked to overcome, this robot was designed for greatness. Its purpose was to scale obstacles, as well as collect and shoot a ball into the high and low tower openings.

On January 17th, we finally managed to completely assemble the chassis, hook up the controller and all electrical components, and upload the correct software to the robot. We later discovered that one of the wheels was rubbing against the chassis, which made it even louder, and the Left/Right orientation was originally reversed, which made it hard to drive, but we eventually fixed the problem.
